INSTRUCTIONS:
Background:
Dampen the sponge and remove excess water. Dip into Primary Blue and Viridian Green keeping the colors separate on the same sponge and apply onto the surface. Move the sponge around by turning and twisting it to avoid a repetitive pattern. Dip the sponge in Primary Blue, Viridian Green, and Warm White, again keeping the colors separate, and repeat the process.
Transferring the design:
Transfer the design from the pattern sheet onto tracing paper, then transfer it onto the piece using the transfer paper and stylus.

Coral:
Stipple the pink coral with Boysenberry Pink using the Deerfoot brush. Add highlights with Boysenberry Pink and Warm White blending it into the background as you move towards the base. Then add a final highlight with Warm White just on the tips of the coral.
Stipple the orange coral with Cadmium Orange using the Deerfoot brush. Add highlights with Cadmium Orange and Warm White blending it into the background as you move towards the base. Then add a final highlight with Warm White just on the tips of the coral.
Stipple the green coral with Yellow Green using the Deerfoot brush. Add highlights with Yellow Green and Yellow Light blending it into the background as you move toward the base. Then add a final highlight with a little Warm White just on the tips of the coral.
Seaweed:
Mix Yellow Green with enough water to resemble an ink-like consistency, then, with the liner, paint fine lines beginning from the coral and pulling the strokes upwards.

Angelfish:
Base the fish with alternate stripes of Lamp Black and Warm White using the round brush. Highlight the base of the white sections using Yellow Light. Paint the fine lines on the fins and tail with Warm White using the liner. Apply a stylus dot with Warm White for the eye. When dry outline the eye with Lamp Black.
FINISHING:
Erase any transfer lines, then apply several light coats of Matte Spray Sealer allowing drying time between coats.
