Blog Notes - December 15, 2022

No cap, no kerchief but I'm ready for that 'long winter's nap'.

It never ceases to amaze me how fast a year can go. It's hard to believe it's time for Christmas and all that entails. I'm sure by now most of you have finished your gift painting, shopped your little hearts out, and decorated to the hilt.

I wish I could say I was there, lol, while I think the decorating is done I am far from finishing the other two.

Here's hoping for some Christmas magic and maybe I'll get lucky.

This issue brings you an interesting article about painting historical architecture. Linda Linemen, who will be bringing you a new project in the February Painting World magazine is the artist we interviewed. Her works are amazing and bring about a sense of history.

For our painting project in this issue, I've shared my two-faced gourd project. I hope you enjoy it.

Finally, please accept my personal wishes for a wonderful and safe holiday season. Stay warm and dry and enjoy the festivities.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
