Blog Notes January 1, 2021

As 2020 has left and the new year gets started one may ponder whether this year will be better than the last. We can hope for the best but we can also work to make this a better year. While we may still have a battle with COVID ongoing there appears to be light at the end of the tunnel. Here is to a new year with better health to all.

Going into 2021, we see a new world of painting emerging. Covid put the stoppers to so many things we love in this industry...classes, conventions, shopping supplies...just to name a few. However, we were not to be denied, the online world soon began giving us virtual conventions, Zoom classes, and more. Many vendors worked to supply mich needed supplies via online shopping. Granted, suppliers and customers have had to deal with delays in shipping due to an overworked post office but all in all, we have managed to work together and keep the juices flowing in this new artistic world.

Many new venues have opened up and we will continue to see our beloved painting world grow. Eventually I imagine we will get back to 'normal' and hopefully we can all continue to support those who make this creative world possible. It is also important to know that all those who supply, teach, design, etc. are appreciative of our customers and wish you the best for this bright and shiny new year!

Happy New Year!

Smiles!
