Two weeks into the new year already... how much painting have you gotten done? I'm still cleaning and reorganizing the studio, recovering from the holiday season just past.
I have lots of new ideas floating around and just need to start bringing them to the drawing board.
The new year often brings us a sense of renewal, a time to get things done, to refresh. I often start out with good intentions and sometimes I even manage to do what I planned. The secret is to make that to-do list really long so chances are, some of it will get done.
That old adage about 'never enough time' certainly seems to ring true. Perhaps Norman Rockwell said it best... "I'll never have enough time to paint all the pictures I'd like to."
Hopefully, you will have enough time to paint with Debby Forshey-Choma and her 'Snowflakes are Glistening' project in this issue along with Amanda Novae's 'Raggedy Dolls'. complete with an awesome time-lapse video.
Take a little inspiration from our new 'Quote Central', a fun way to get your creative juices flowing and, be sure to visit with our Promoting Painting participants, you never know what's new!
Here is to the continuation of a beautiful new year!
Smiles!
