Blog Notes July 22, 2019

Updated: Jul 31, 2019

As we wrap up the 3rd issue of our Christmas in July blogs I feel like I'm in the mood to paint for the holiday season! Sets of ornaments are awaiting my attention in the studio. A few gifts are waiting there too, hopefully I'll get them done in time for all the festivities. I hope that you have been inspired too.

In this issue we talk about giving with your painting, how you can contribute and look at one of our PWM Blog artist's foray into the Season of Giving. Her project inspired the article.

Birds of Winter takes us into the wonderful world of our feathered friends and how they, at least for me, influence our painting. This is the first in a four part series. Look for the next installment in the Fall.

Painting for Christmas is just a fun look at what we paint for the holidays. Be it an angel or Santa Claus, there are plenty of characters and such to color our yuletide world.

Phyllis Spaw brings us a charming ornament for our Christmas in July celebration. Paint this adorable ornament for your tree!

Please note that some previous issues of the blog are no longer available. Be sure to save or print out a project or article that you really like to your computer for future use.

Smiles!
