Blog Notes - May 1, 2021

Spring has truly arrived. It would seem that April showers have brought May flowers. The blooms are bright and abound everywhere.

Ralph Waldo Emerson may have said it best... "Many eyes go through the meadow, but few see the flowers in it." We need to slow down and really look. To see the flowers can be an inspiration, both in life and in our painting.

Let this issue of the PWM Blog be your incentive to get out there, find those flowers and brighten your world with your art.

Isabelle Desroches brings us a beautiful project that not only celebrates daisies but also art. Check out her new design, My Paintbrushes.

Wander through the 'gardens' of Claude Monet in one of our pictorial essays and 'listen' to the nature-inspired poetry of John Clare in our new series, The Art of Poetry.

Enjoy!
