Blog Notes October 1, 2020
October has arrived. For some, it brings a chill in the air and the certainty that winter is coming. It brings pumpkin spice, cozy sweater weather and so much more. I was going to start our Christmas and winter projects with this issue but could not resist sharing these two fall projects with you. The next two issues will bring you a bit more autumn-inspired art, first with a wonderfully fun candlestick project from Elaina Appleby and then a uniquely marbled pumpkin from Robyn Smith.
For me, the month brings about change. As we enter into one season we leave behind the last. While we are already one week into fall we look forward to painting for Christmas, for the winter season. The PWM Blog will be bringing you eight magical Christmas projects through the end of the year. From fun ornaments to holiday nail art, there is something for everyone!
Our art journal challenges continue. I can't wait to see the results of the Holiday Recipes challenge. I'm still working on mine! Show me yours... firstname.lastname@example.org
Be sure to look and see some more of the 'leaves' challenge we have received in this issue.
Happy Halloween and Happy Fall!
