Blog Notes October 11, 2019

It's hard to believe Halloween is just a few weeks away. We've all got our decorations up and await the ring of the doorbell. The run of children, wrapped in magic and sharing their joy. A night of pretend and funny enough, giving. Candy and apples, cider and donuts, what's not to love! It brings back memories while also taking a look at the changes a few decades make. Things have changed but are so much the same. Happy Halloween!

Feeling a little batty? Be sure to check out our Birds of Halloween. I may just have to give birds a new definition.

Have you ever written poetry or played word games? Writing the birds article got me to thinking of Edgar Allan Poe and The Raven. I tried to figure a way to bring the poem to you but the best I can do is give you this link... Edgar Allan Poe - The Raven

Such a good read for Halloween or anytime. May it inspire you.

Welcome Mary Lynn Parson with her delightful Pumpkin Jack, this issue's free project.
