Blog Notes - October 15, 2023

As fall continues, we in the decorative painting world are already gearing into winter and the treasures of the season. Many started painting for Christmas months ago. Designers have transitioned even earlier, some go at it all year round. As this issue starts the move from Halloween and fall to Christmas it brings a blend of the two seasons.

As we make the switch from cider and pumpkin lattes to peppermint cappuccinos and hot chocolate we have the perfect project for your holiday painting, compliments of Amanda Novaes... her Gingerbread Cup! A cute design from an exceptional teacher.

As we head out of the spooky season we have a photo essay that some may find eerie while others may be as fascinated as I was. Take a tour of the Circular Church Graveyard in Charleston, South Carolina, and decide for yourself.

Our Art Journal Challenge returns in the next issue with a sprinkling of Christmas fun!

Updates continue for the APC Expo as we complete the painting 0class catalog (Coming Soon!) and gather new arts & crafts creative courses too! The deadline for the art & craft classes is Nov.18, 2023.
