Blog Notes Sept. 12, 2020

We are almost halfway through the month of September. The leaves have started to fall here in northwestern Pennsylvania. The colors haven't peaked yet but the occasional leaf tumbles to the still green grass as if in defiance. While I love the beautiful fall colors, I dread the loss of them. It is ironic that one of my favorite seasons to paint is fall.

The colors do speak to so many. Autumn Art, in this issue, shows what past artists saw when they experienced the fall season. Today there are many very talented designers and artists who share their exquisite works online, be sure to do a search.

Our fall art journal challenge continues, keep those photos of your work coming!

Our Promoting Painting section awaits your visit. So many sites to visit. Check out Mitform's website and Facebook page to see what is new. Dixie Belle has a way of coloring your world, go take a look.

Nancy Scott, CDA has a wonderfully fun fall project in this issue. Be sure to see how Nancy paints for the season!
