GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Apply floating technique for shading and highlighting, unless otherwise specified. To float, I use the Angular brushes and I adapt the size of the brush to the area I am going to paint. After floating I use a Mop brush to soften. To do so, I lightly dab with the Mop along the external part of the floating and then move slowly, towards the center of the shading or highlighting. The Mop brush helps a lot in making the shades softer and more harmonious.

PREPARATION:

Sand the surface. Remove dust with a damp paper towel. Seal the wood with the FW brush and DecoArt Multi-purpose sealer. Dry and sand again remaining very light. Remove dust with a damp paper towel.

Paint the background with the FW brush and Aloe. Dry and repeat the operation.

Transfer the guidelines with the help of a ball stylus and graphite paper.
