Flowers for Valentine's Day...

Chrysanthèmes Rouges - Claude Monet 1881

A founder of the Impressionist Movement, Oscar-Claude Monet used a style of painting to capture the feeling of his subject, rather than portraying it realistically. He used bright colors and light, along with broad brush strokes. He often used Plein air painting, preferring painting outdoors.
