National Squirrel Appreciation Day!


Today is also National Hugging Day but it doesn't seem like too much fun during this pandemic, it's hard to hug from six feet away. However, who doesn't love a squirrel?!


An adorable rodent, these bushy-tailed critters can be very entertaining and over the years have provided many a painter with a fun and furry subject. Below are a few historical looks at the art of the squirrel.
